November 2026
Bug fixes
iOS 1.2.3
October 2026
Trainer icons, Rumble traits and Gimmighoul
iOS 1.2.1- Make the trainer icon your own: pick its skin tone, hair, cap and shirt in Edit profile.
- Shinies from the Pokémon Rumble games take the game's Special Trait (Gutsy, Healthy, Fire Guard and the rest) instead of a nature.
- Gimmighoul's Roaming Form can be logged from Pokémon GO, or in Scarlet and Violet as a HOME transfer.
- The iPhone Duo is fully supported, open, folded or closed.
Colosseum, XD and Pokémon Rumble
iOS 1.2.0- Hunt shinies in Pokémon Colosseum, Pokémon XD and Pokémon Rumble, with only the Pokémon that can really be shiny in each.
- Rumble hunts take your player count, and Rumble's Weekend Edition and the Rumble Blast Shiny Mod are supported.
- Log your Pokémon Rumble U password and figure shinies.
- New accounts start private, with a choice in Settings to make new catches public.
Pokémon GO in your collection
iOS 1.1.6- Log your Pokémon GO shinies, with how you got it, the event, CP, IVs, and whether it's Lucky, Shadow or Purified.
- Collection cards can show the method, and for GO the event, CP and IVs.
- One Log a shiny button: pick how you found it, from a past hunt, a random shiny, or one you already have.
Where it was caught, and two Tap anywhere options
iOS 1.1.5- Record where a shiny was caught, from the Shiny Found pop-up or Edit catch.
- With Tap anywhere on, a tap on the number can count instead of opening it for typing.
- The hunt buttons can fold behind one Hunt options button, so a stray tap doesn't open another page.
Tap anywhere to count
iOS 1.1.4- A new way to count, in Settings, Preferences: tap any empty part of the hunt screen to add an encounter, with a short vibration. A small minus button stays for an extra tap.
- An option to vibrate when you count with the buttons.
- Each multi-hunt window can run its own auto-count.
- Settings are grouped into sections.
September 2026
A collection toolbar made for phones
iOS 1.1.3- The collection has an Add menu, a full-width search, and sort, filter and view menus that fit on a phone.
Alpha hunts
iOS 1.1.2- Hunt an Alpha in Legends: Arceus and Legends: Z-A.
- Starter Pokémon can be hunted in the wild in the games where they appear there.
Sprites from your game
iOS 1.1.1- Sprites can match the game you're hunting in.
Your stats, and more on each shiny
iOS 1.1.0- Count history, and a Your stats page to see it on.
- Write a bio on your profile, and show your ranch there.
- Add a description to each shiny, log phases from before you joined, and mark a Brilliant Aura.
- Search your collection, and log a past shiny without a date.
ShinyPokes is on the App Store
iOS 1.0.0- The iOS app: hunts, multi-hunt, your collection, the Shiny Dex, chat, events and the ranch, with the same account as the website.
